my day today: woke up at 9, had breakfast, helped my nephew with lego, went downtown for lunch at the fish market, had fish and some octopus, went to the movies and saw an amazing movie "the secret life of walter mitty", ate kangaroo pizza, walked around the opera house, took a train back home

boxing day. +30 degrees. we went shopping downtown. there were sales everywhere and hundreds of people trying to get a good deal. after the shopping spree we went for a walk in the darling harbor where we had sushi and ice cream. sydney is a great town. it's very modern and super diverse with ppl from all over the world. despite the fact that it does not resemble my home at all every time im there i feel like home. it makes me wonder what i am still doing in europe. im considering moving here and im rather positive id love it here. the quality of life seems to be higher in australia than europe and on top of that id be closer to my sis and her family which i miss a lot. tmw i want to go to the bondi beach for a swim. stay tuned ;-)
its 4 am local time. im dead tired after 28h of travelling. still managing to upload some pics to my website tho lol i didnt let my family know i was coming to sydney. no one knew i would be in sydney heh i was super happy to see my family and spend xmas with them. after breakfast we took a car and drove around the city a bit. it was raining a bit and it was around 20 degrees today. it's supposed to be around 30 the net few days. im gonna try to wake up early tmw and go downtown to do some after xmas shopping.
i had a 6.5h stop over in seoul. i used the opportunity to go downtown to see a bit of the city. the city is massive and to be honest i felt a bit overwhelmed by it. it's very modern and very clean. lots of skyscrapers everywhere. literally everyone has got a smartphone in seoul. it's not uncommon to see people watching movies on their phones in the metro. the metro system is huge and very well organized. i didnt see a lot and i have to go back one day and do the proper tour of the city
